About Us

"And they ate and were satisfied. And they took up the broken pieces left over, seven baskets full."

- Mark 8:8

The book of Mark describes the well-known story of how Jesus fed 4000 with just seven loaves and a few small fish. Miraculous. What really astonishes us is that the miracle was not just enough, but so abundant that there were leftovers — 7 baskets full.

Our menu is a nod to Dean's grandfather who cooked traditional English meals to the masses on Sydney’s Manly beaches during the ’70s at his popular restaurant, “Ritchie’s Kitchen” and highlights our love for simple meals prepared with excellence.

The Team

"Mum was always cooking up a storm, so there is that deep-rooted connection I have with family time and dinner. Looking back at the impact of it, I would say it was my most important meal of the day growing up."

"To me, food is all about the people. It takes a community of people to bring together what goes in a meal and the delight is that it's shared with people we love and allows us a moment to share our lives with one another."

"Growing up in Korea, food was the starting point of every conversation. "Have you eaten?" is culturally how we greet each other and we would never eat a meal alone. It's that identity ingrained in me that takes pleasure in serving others the food I love to eat."
